First Time User Registration for Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a separate system than your SMCM library account that manages loans and requests from SMCM and USMAI institutions. ILL is specifically for items not held by SMCM or USMAI institutions.
To request an item through our Interlibrary Loan service, you must first identify yourself to the library's ILL system.

About your Barcode Number and Password

During registration, you will be asked to input your Barcode Number and a Password.
  • For Students, Faculty, and Staff of SMCM, your barcode number is located on your OneCard.
  • For local community members, your barcode number is on your blue SMCM library card.
You will use this Barcode Number and Password when logging on to the ILL system in the future.
