What is Interlibrary Loan?
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows you to request books, articles, and other materials
that are not available through
OneSearch.
Before submitting an ILL request, please:

Login to search OneSearch to determine whether the item is available
at St. Mary's College of Maryland.

If not available at SMCM, check availability through our
USMAI partnership
with other Maryland academic libraries.

If the item is not held at SMCM or available through USMAI, you may submit an
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request.
Interlibrary Loan should be used only after confirming that the material
is unavailable through SMCM and USMAI.
